Event Day Schedule
- 9:00 am – Registration*, Info/Exhibitor Tent, Kids Tent opens
- 10:00 am – Opening Ceremony begins
- 10:21 am – Walk begins
- 12:00 pm – Event Concludes
*All participants must register before walking (If you would like to register on behalf of the family, you can! If you need assistance, I can send you a tutorial on how to do this)

Do I sign up as a team captain, teammate, or participant?
Any of the following! Most parents and/or caregivers sign up as the team captain of their team and customize their team page with personalized photos and messages! Family, friends, and supporters then sign up as participants and choose “join a team” when signing up to join the team! If you are a corporate business or school team, feel free to make your own team and raise money on behalf of an individual with Down syndrome or just simply raise money towards Down Syndrome Indiana’s mission! If you choose to walk as an individual/participant, feel free to sign up as a participant!
What can I expect at the Buddy Walk?
Buddy Walk ® is the largest fundraising and awareness event for Down Syndrome Indiana! As the event begins, there is live music and acts, exhibitors, vendors, and much more! The walk is the main event, and then there are awards as well as opportunities throughout the day to connect with DSI staff, community partners, families in our community, and much more!
